At AvePoint, we’re always searching for methods to include versatility and choices for our customers. Using the discharge of AvePoint Citizen Services 1.3., we’ve done exactly that.

AvePoint Citizen Services was produced like a multi-tenant SaaS platform that allows governments associated with a size to modernize their situation management, improve client satisfaction, streamline their operations, and surface deep insights regarding their town. It automates the entire lifecycle of non-emergency situation management from initial submission through resolution.

At launch, AvePoint Citizen Services is built to leverage customers’ Dynamics 365 instances around the back-finish, while supplying user-friendly portals and mobile phone applications that provide because the interface for constituents, city workers, and field workers.

This architecture provides extensive benefits, for example allowing us to benefit from the ability and built-in goodness of Dynamics 365 and the opportunity to easily create effective integrations with Apps featuring in Dynamics 365 for example Field Service and Understanding Articles.

Within this release, we expand this model by presenting two additional back-finish configuration choices for storing service request data:

  1. Built-in Database
  2. Bring-your-own (BYO) Azure SQL Database

Through this model, customers can pick the rear-finish configuration that best meets their demands.

Option 1: Dynamics Back-Finish Option 2: BYO Azure SQL DB Option 3: Built-in Azure SQL DBs
Existing Dynamics 365 customers, or individuals that are curious about leveraging the strength of Dynamics 365, may choose the original design and employ Dynamics 365 because the back-finish from the solution. Customers that do not own Dynamics 365 licenses (and aren’t available on the market for Dynamics), but nonetheless want the versatility and security from the BYO storage model, may bring their very own Azure SQL databases. Citizen Services will use them commercially service request data. Customers searching for simplicity along with a turn-key experience may choose the built-in database option. It normally won’t even have to consider data or databases – we’ll take proper care of it. Behind the curtain, we’ll provision a redundant database for every customer and keep it in check within our SaaS platform.

Using these three choices, customers associated with a profile and then any budget can concentrate on the option that’s satisfactory!

Talking about options, we’ve just added another way of constituents to submit service demands for their local governments.

Among the design tenants we embrace with AvePoint Citizen Services may be the “no wrong door” concept.
